Manage periodic reviews

To help maintain a secure and uninterrupted service for your platform, Checkout.com conducts periodic reviews on your sub-entities to ensure the information we hold about them is accurate and complies with regulatory requirements.
When a sub-entity is due for a periodic review, Checkout.com updates the sub-entity status in the Dashboard to Action required and sends a Status changed webhook. You must review the following sub-entity business details and update them if necessary:
- The sub-entity's legal and contact details.
- The sub-entity's key stakeholder details. For example, the authorized signatory and ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs).

API responses will display the sub-entity's status as requirements_due.
Once you've completed the review on behalf of the sub-entity, you must declare that the information you provided is accurate. This triggers an internal review of the details you submitted and updates the sub-entity's status to Pending.

The sub-entity's processing capabilities are not affected while the internal review is in progress.
You have 90 days to complete the periodic review from the date we update the sub-entity's status.
You must complete the sub-entity's periodic review by the due date to ensure regulatory compliance. If you do not, we may restrict the sub-entity's processing capabilities or suspend services.

To view and complete a periodic review for the sub-entity, you must have a role on the sub-entity account with the Onboard and edit sub-entity details user permission.
To complete the sub-entity's periodic review:
- Sign in to the Dashboard.
- Go to Sub-entities.
- Select the sub-entity that has the Action required status.
- On the Sub-entity details page, select Account actions required > Business information > Review.
- Review the existing business details displayed in Information to review.
- If there are any outdated details, select Edit in the relevant section and update the information.
Once you've reviewed and updated all of the required details, return to the Business information page to submit your declaration:
- In the Declaration section, select Confirm to confirm that the information is accurate.
- When the Action resolved pop-up appears, select OK.
We perform an internal review of the business details you submit. If we require additional information, we change the sub-entity status back to Action required and send a Status changed webhook.
